Principles of Personal Information Pretection

Pegatron Japan Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") is engaged in the development, sales, import/export, repair, maintenance and management of computers, electronic communication equipment and peripheral equipment and components as its core business activities.

Personal information obtained from customers and our employees through our business activities (hereinafter referred to as "personal information") is an important information asset for us.

The Company recognizes that the personal information we obtain from our customers and employees through our business activities ("Personal Information") is an important information asset of our company and that the protection of such Personal Information is an important social responsibility of our company.

Therefore, we handle personal information obtained through our business activities in accordance with the following policy to provide "peace of mind" to our customers and employees and to fulfill our social responsibility regarding the protection of personal information.

Policy

1. Acquisition, use and provision of personal information
・We will acquire personal information in a lawful and fair manner.
・We will use personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.
・We will obtain the prior consent of the individual when providing personal information to a third party.
・We will not use personal information for any other purpose.
・If the need arises to use personal information for purposes other than those stated, we will obtain the consent of the individual before using the information for a new purpose.

2. With respect to laws and regulations, guidelines and other norms established by the government (hereinafter referred to as "laws and regulations, etc.")
・We will endeavor to keep abreast of laws and regulations related to the business of handling personal information, and will inform our employees engaged in our business (hereinafter referred to as "employees") of and comply with such laws and regulations.

3. Safety Management of Personal Information

4. Complaints and Consultation
We have established a Personal Information Inquiry Desk to handle complaints and consultations regarding the handling of personal information. We will endeavor to respond prompty and in good faith with their system in place.

5. Continuous Improvement
・Our personal information protection management system is designed to monitor and audit compliance with internal rules for the protection of personal information, and to detect violations, incidents, accidents, and weaknesses.
